Dremel is a manufacturer who is synonymous with drills.
It is certainly not the highest spec drill with low torque and relatively low rpms compared to others.
However we stock this item for use with the lecture gyroscope. Having low torque makes the lecture gyroscope much easier and safer to start. And although it would be nicer to have higher rpms the 14,000rpm of the drill means the lecture gyroscope will be running at a few thousand rpm. Which is quite fast for a large gyroscope such as the lecture.
The drill is cordless which makes it easy to handle. It runs from 4 AA batteries making it ideal to use in all countries around the world.
